This leadership roundtable will assess the opportunities and challenges of carbon pricing, looking at the EU's Emission Trading Schemes (ETS) I & II respectively and how their application will interplay and ultimately impact CCU and CCS projects. Experts will examine how carbon pricing can incentivise a switch to an emission reduction strategy, the importance of measurement, reporting and verification (MRV) as well as the challenges such as carbon leakage and competitiveness.
