The Green Hydrogen Hub Northern Germany is uniquely situated and thus at the core of the green transformation of Germany’s Economy. The German industry needs vast amounts of renewable energy to achieve the transformation towards a sustainable and carbon neutral production. Offshore wind production, energy import, pipeline infrastructure, storage capacity and off-takers – combined they create the hydrogen ecosystem in Northern Germany needed to plan and organize a predictable implementation of a hydrogen economy.
