As we collectively face the challenges of making green hydrogen commercially and technically viable, the chlor-alkali industry stands at the forefront, playing a pivotal role in catalysing industrial scale-up. This presentation explores how chlor-alkali experience and technologies can support green hydrogen deployment by leveraging existing infrastructure, operational know-how, and safety expertise. We will discuss the technical synergies between chlor-alkali and hydrogen production, and how these can enable bankable, large-scale projects, particularly in the early stages of the hydrogen economy.
