Panel Discussion: National Hydrogen Pipeline Project Update

21 Oct 2025
Hydrogen Leadership Summit

In October 2024, the Federal Network Agency granted approval for the so-called hydrogen core network. By 2032, it should expand to 9,040 kilometers, linking key hydrogen hubs in every state: seaports, production zones, and industrial clusters. This panel will discuss the project's progress, investment strategies, and the challenges of repurposing existing gas pipelines for hydrogen transport. Panellists will discuss the network's role in decarbonising industries and future expansion of the hydrogen network.
