Sumitomo SHI FW (SFW) has over four decades of experience in fluidized bed gasification, providing proven solutions to convert biomass and waste into clean syngas for advanced biofuels and chemicals. With a global track record and strong technology base, SFW is advancing scalable pathways for renewable methanol, sustainable aviation fuels (SAF), and carbon-negative products by integrating gasification with renewable hydrogen and carbon capture and storage (BECCS). Drawing on more than 900,000 operating hours and 11 reference plants worldwide, SFW demonstrates the technical and commercial readiness of large-scale oxy-steam CFB gasification systems. This session will explore how flexible feedstock use, reliable operations, and integration with renewable hydrogen create a scalable route to carbon-neutral and carbon-negative fuels, supporting global decarbonization targets.
