In his presentation, “Connecting Large-Scale Hydrogen Projects in Denmark to Germany,” Jacob Krogsgraad, Founder and CEO of Everfuel, will examine the opportunities and challenges of supplying renewable hydrogen from Denmark to Germany. Using the HySynergy project in Fredericia as a case study, the presentation will explore how large-scale hydrogen production can be connected to demand centres in Germany and what this means for the decarbonisation of industry and mobility.

The presentation will focus on the practical lessons from developing, operating and supplying hydrogen at scale, including production, RFNBO certification, logistics and cross-border distribution. It will also address the key infrastructure and market requirements for transporting larger volumes of hydrogen between Denmark and Germany, and discuss the challenges that need to be overcome to establish reliable and scalable cross-border hydrogen supply chains.
