Driving the Energy Transition: VDMA at Hydrogen Technology World Expo
From October 20 to 22, industry professionals will gather in Hamburg for the Hydrogen Technology World Expo and the Carbon Capture Technology World Expo, two leading concurrent events focused on the hydrogen economy and CCUS.
VDMA Power-to-X for Applications and VDMA Power Systems will be jointly represented at a shared booth in Hall B5, Booth 5H42, together with two member companies. The joint presence is organized by VDMA Services GmbH.
VDMA "Power-to-X for Applications" is a cross-industry platform for exchange, communication, and cooperation in the P2X community. It involves all important stakeholders, from the development of manufacturing processes through the production of synthetic fuels and raw materials using power-to-X technologies to the end customer. With its activities, it promotes a holistic and technology-open approach to the transformation of energy systems, and raises public awareness of environmentally friendly energy use and mobility.
VDMA Power Systems is the association for the power plant engineering.
It represents the interests of manufacturers and suppliers of electricity and heat systems in Germany and abroad. These include wind energy, photovoltaic and hydropower plants, engines and thermal power plants as well as storage and sector coupling technologies. VDMA Power Systems serves as a cross-technology information and communication platform for them, focusing on energy and industrial policy, innovations and technology, markets and trade fairs as well as press and public relations work. VDMA Power Systems is a trade association within the VDMA, Europe's largest association for mechanical and plant engineering.
