ENERICH to Showcase Advanced Ti-PTL and Ni-mPL™ Solutions at Hydrogen Technology World Expo 2026
amburg, Germany – October 2026 – ENERICH Co., Ltd., a Korean manufacturer specializing in advanced metallic porous materials, will exhibit at Hydrogen Technology World Expo 2026 in Hamburg, presenting its latest porous transport and interface solutions for PEM and AEM water electrolysis.
At Stand 7E59, ENERICH will showcase two of its core technologies: Ti-PTL, a monolithic powder-sintered porous titanium transport layer for PEM electrolyzers, and Ni-mPL™, an integrated metallic microporous interface developed for AEM water electrolysis.
As the water electrolysis industry moves toward higher performance, durability, and commercial-scale manufacturing, optimizing the interface between the catalyst layer and porous transport structure is becoming increasingly important.
ENERICH approaches this challenge through metallic porous-material and interface engineering.
For PEM water electrolysis, ENERICH’s Ti-PTL is manufactured as a monolithic porous titanium structure using a proprietary powder-sintering process. Its controlled and uniform porous architecture is designed to provide reliable transport pathways, stable electrical conduction, and mechanical support at the catalyst interface. The technology also offers flexibility in dimensions, thickness, porosity, and surface configuration to accommodate different electrolyzer designs.
For AEM water electrolysis, ENERICH Ni-mPL™ combines a nickel foam substrate with an integrated microporous nickel layer. This engineered structure creates a finer and more uniform catalyst-facing interface while maintaining the porous transport pathways required for electrochemical operation.
Rather than focusing solely on catalyst materials, ENERICH sees the porous interface itself as an important opportunity for advancing electrolyzer performance. Through precision powder processing, controlled porous structures, and scalable manufacturing, the company works with electrolyzer manufacturers and technology developers to tailor porous transport solutions to specific cell and stack requirements.
ENERICH’s capabilities include large-area manufacturing and customized product configurations, supporting customers from initial material evaluation and prototype development through scale-up toward commercial applications.
