In such situations, the breakaway safely separates under full operating pressure, immediately stopping the hydrogen transfer process and preventing the release of hydrogen. This significantly reduces the risk of forming potentially hazardous gas mixtures. Following inspection and reconnection by trained personnel, the refueling system can be returned to service quickly and efficiently.
