Unlike conventional radial seals, Cryo Seal® combines radial and frontal sealing elements to create a dual sealing barrier that helps maintain sealing performance even when dimensional changes occur at extremely low temperatures.

Designed for operating temperatures from -269 °C to +280 °C, Cryo Seal® is suitable for applications involving LNG, hydrogen and other cryogenic media. Depending on application requirements, the sealing system can be manufactured using advanced materials including Victrex CT™200 (Cryo-PEEK), PCTFE, modified PTFE and other low-porosity polymers.

Performance testing with helium has demonstrated leakage levels up to ten times lower than those achieved by conventional radial sealing solutions, highlighting the effectiveness of the patented design in demanding cryogenic environments.
