TMEIC to Showcase High-Power IGBT Rectifier Solutions for Green Hydrogen Production
TMEIC, a joint venture between Toshiba and Mitsubishi Electric, will showcase its advanced IGBT-based power-conversion solutions for hydrogen electrolyzers at Hydrogen Technology Expo Europe. The company will demonstrate how its extensive experience in high-power industrial applications can support the development of reliable and cost-competitive green hydrogen plants.
TMEIC will participate in Hydrogen Technology Expo Europe to present its high-power IGBT rectifier systems for green hydrogen production.
Rectifiers are a critical part of an electrolyzer plant, converting AC power from the electrical grid or renewable-energy sources into the stable and controllable DC power required by electrolyzer stacks. TMEIC’s advanced IGBT technology provides high efficiency, precise DC output control, a fast dynamic response, and reliable operation under changing power conditions.
These capabilities make TMEIC’s rectifier systems particularly suitable for hydrogen plants supplied by variable renewable-energy sources. The systems can be adapted to different electrolyzer technologies, plant layouts, capacities, and grid requirements. Solutions are available for indoor or containerized installation and can be scaled from individual electrolyzer units to large industrial hydrogen plants.
TMEIC supports customers throughout the complete project lifecycle, including technical design, system integration, manufacturing, testing, commissioning, and after-sales service. By combining Japanese engineering expertise with a global manufacturing and service network, TMEIC aims to support the reliable and cost-effective expansion of the hydrogen industry.
Visitors are invited to meet the TMEIC team at Hydrogen Technology Expo Europe to discuss their hydrogen projects and learn more about the benefits of TMEIC’s IGBT rectifier technology.
