At Hydrogen Technology World Expo 2026 in Hamburg, Yianteng Special Anodes will present porous transport layers and customized bipolar plate solutions for PEM, AEM and SOEC electrolyzers. ULTRA-THIN PTLs FOR RELIABLE INTERFACIAL CONTACT
Yianteng’s sintered titanium porous transport layers are available in thicknesses down to 0.08 mm. With a controlled pore size of 4–10 μm, low surface roughness and a compression-stable titanium structure, the PTLs are designed to support uniform water distribution, efficient oxygen removal and reliable contact with the catalyst layer.
Optional platinum and other functional surface coatings can be applied according to operating requirements. These treatments help maintain low interfacial resistance and long-term stability under the acidic and highly demanding conditions found in PEM electrolysis.
For applications requiring high porosity and greater conformity under compression, Yianteng also supplies titanium-felt PTLs. Their three-dimensional fibre structure supports effective water and gas transport while adapting to stack assembly tolerances.
PRECISION-ETCHED BIPOLAR PLATES FOR FASTER DEVELOPMENT
Yianteng manufactures customized flow fields through die-free precision chemical etching, with an etching accuracy of ±100 μm. Without the need for conventional forming tools during early-stage development, customers can modify channel patterns and evaluate new designs with lower initial tooling investment and shorter iteration cycles.
The company supports serpentine, parallel, interdigitated and application-specific flow-field geometries. Precision etching can be combined with CNC finishing and tailored surface treatments to meet requirements for electrical conductivity, corrosion resistance, sealing and dimensional consistency.
For electrolyzer applications, Yianteng provides an integrated bipolar plate solution combining precision chemical etching and advanced functional coating technologies. Automated etching and coating lines are supported by an in-house testing laboratory equipped for electrochemical, dimensional, material and surface analysis.
