Inline measurements

  1. Redox Flow's OCV cell (https://redox-flow.com/product/ocv-cell/ separates anode and cathode overpotentials) during operation, rather than reporting a single combined voltage. Its unique design allows for being built either as a standard OCV cell, or with a third, middle chamber sandwiched between the anolyte and catholyte compartments, holding an internal reference electrolyte (such as V3+/V4+ or Zobell solution). That shared reference point lets researchers measure each half-cell's potential independently and see, in real time, whether a performance loss is happening at the anode, the cathode, or both - a distinction a standard two-electrode voltage reading can't make on its own.
  2. The UV/VIS fiber-optical flow cell (https://redox-flow.com/product/uv-vis-fiber-optical-flow-cell/) adds real-time spectroscopy, with a variable optical path length from 0.05 mm to 8 mm and an internal hydraulic bypass that keeps pressure drop low even above 100 mL/min, for monitoring reactions as they happen.
  3. The inline pressure unit (https://redox-flow.com/product/inline-pressure-unit-single/) tracks differential pressure across the cell to catch flow restrictions or blockages early, and the flow-through electrode holder supports inline electrode studies without breaking down the setup.
  4. The flow-through electrode holder (https://redox-flow.com/product/flow-through-electrode-holder/) brings pH, ORP, and conductivity probes directly into the flow path, with a Luggin-capillary option that positions a reference electrode just outside the main cell to avoid contaminating it or exposing it to thermal stress. Four size versions cover electrode diameters from 3 mm to 17 mm, so it adapts to whatever probe a researcher is already using rather than locking them into one sensor brand.
  5. The Electrolyser H2/O2 gas separation unit (https://redox-flow.com/product/electrolyser-h2-o2-gas-seperation-unit/) sits right after the cell in a water electrolysis setup, splitting hydrogen and oxygen out of the gas-laden electrolyte before it reaches a shared reservoir. It uses gravity and fluid dynamics rather than a membrane - gas exits vertically through separate pathways while the treated liquid flows down into a common electrolyte bottle - mirroring how traditional alkaline electrolysis setups with porous separators are configured. It's built for exactly the setup most researchers run: one electrolyte bottle serving both the H2 and O2 side, rather than two isolated loops.

Other accessories

  1. Hydraulic connection packs (https://redox-flow.com/?s=hydraulic+connection&e_search_props=bb8ccf9-8831) bundle Swagelok-compatible tubing, fittings, bottles, vials, and multiport reservoirs in 1/8″ and 1/4″ configurations, sized for everything from M-Cell to X-Stack systems.
  2. The peristaltic pump range (https://redox-flow.com/product-category/pumps/), including the dual-channel BT600L, circulates electrolyte on both sides of a cell with flow rates from 0.006 to 2,900 mL/min and digital speed control.
  3. Cell parts (https://redox-flow.com/product-category/spareparts/) - current collectors and flow bodies - are available in nickel, titanium, 316L stainless steel, copper, and platinum- or gold-coated options, in flat or flow-field geometries.
  4. The assembly stand and assembly package add uniform compression and a torque wrench for repeatable, leak-free builds, and the cutting tools let researchers precision-cut their own electrodes and membranes to size, from 25×25 mm sections up to full X-Stack and 3-/4-compartment cell formats.

Consumables

Electrodes (https://redox-flow.com/product-category/consumables/electrodes/) span nickel foam for alkaline and AEM electrolysis, sintered metal felts for zero-gap and liquid-fed architectures, and carbon and graphite felts for flow batteries and non-aqueous systems.

Membranes (https://redox-flow.com/product-category/consumables/membranes/) cover anion exchange (fumasep FAAM series) for alkaline and AEM electrolysis and cation exchange options for PEM, with PTFE- and polyketone-reinforced variants for demanding conditions. Gaskets in PTFE, Viton, and EPDM, from 0.05 mm to 2 mm thick, give precise control over electrode compression and leak-free sealing across the full cell and stack range.

Gaskets (https://redox-flow.com/product-category/spareparts/gaskets/) are available in PTFE, Viton, and EPDM, in thicknesses from 0.05 mm to 2 mm, pre-cut for each cell and stack size or custom-cut to a customer's own drawing or specs.
