Advanced Solvent Carbon Capture (ASCC)
Designed to address large volumes of flue gas at near-atmospheric pressure with only 4 to 20 percent CO2--NGCC, coal, cement, steel, FCC, pulp and paper, WtE.
- Up to 30% lower CAPEX through reduced absorber footprint.
- Low regeneration energy: 2.1 GJ/MT of CO2 (vs 3.3-3.7 for older amines).
- High-pressure stripping (6–8 barg) eliminates downstream CO₂ compression, reducing CAPEX and OPEX.
- Modular configurations: Up to 500 KMTA with standard designs at 100 KMTA and 2 MMTA.
- All-electric operation available via eASCC.
- 20+ years of development; 8,500+ hours tested at the National Carbon Capture Center (2–15% CO₂) and 2,650+ hours at Technology Centre Mongstad processing 200 tpd from FCC and power generation.
- Comprehensive warranty and performance guarantees.
- Full life-cycle support from feasibility through FEED, commissioning, startup and operations.
