AEM electrolytic stacks and components
Nemesys positions itself as a key technological partner in the transition toward green hydrogen, providing advanced solutions for hydrogen generation via Anion Exchange Membrane (AEM) water electrolysis. This technology combines the structural and operational advantages of proton exchange membrane systems with the cost efficiency achieved by using non-noble metals and catalysts.
The company's offering rests on two primary pillars: hardware supply and specialized chemical/electrochemical testing services.
- Advanced AEM Membranes: Formulated to deliver high ionic conductivity, low gas crossover, and excellent chemical-mechanical durability.
- Cell & Stack Hardware: High-performance electrodes, low content PGM or PGM-free catalyst powders, complete electrolytic stacks. Possibility of supplying custom-made products.
- Electrochemical Characterization: Polarization curves and accelerated durability/degradation testing on single cells and multi-cell stacks.
- Chemical & Physical Analysis: Material tolerance testing against impurities, long-term alkaline stability evaluations, and purity analysis of the generated hydrogen gas.
By combining component manufacturing with analytical expertise, Nemesys supports system integrators and research institutions throughout the entire development lifecycle—from early-stage material validation to commercial electrolysis stack deployment.
Being an R&D company, Nemesys has also the capability of doing research and development on a wide range of projects, providing support on low and medium-TRL technologies.
