Ammonia Power Generator | APG ICE Series 300 kW–5 MW
Neology’s APG ICE Series is a modular ammonia-to-power generator designed for large-scale power generation where conventional grid access is limited, constrained or where resilient local generation is required.
The system converts ammonia into hydrogen-rich gas on site using Neology’s proprietary ammonia cracking technology. The resulting fuel is supplied to an internal combustion engine (ICE) coupled to an electrical generator, providing a scalable pathway from ammonia to dispatchable power.
Designed for outputs from 300 kW to 5 MW, the APG ICE Series targets applications including industrial facilities, data centers, ports and terminals, remote and weak-grid sites, and critical infrastructure.
The platform is designed for integration with industrial engine technologies and can leverage engine waste heat for the ammonia cracking process, improving overall system integration and energy efficiency. Its modular architecture allows cracking capacity and power generation to be configured according to the required electrical output and application.
Neology is developing the APG ICE Series in collaboration with engine technology partners, combining Neology’s ammonia conversion and system-integration expertise with proven industrial power-generation platforms.
