Carbon Capture & CCUS
Veolia supports industries in their decarbonization journey by providing fully integrated, end-to-end carbon capture, solvent reclaiming, and advanced gas purification systems. Effective water and gas management are deeply interconnected parts of the carbon capture value chain-from treating raw flue gas to conditioning the captured CO2 for transport or storage.
We offer a technology-agnostic portfolio of modular point-source carbon capture systems, using advanced amine solvents (including our specialized Max-Amine* formulation) and high-performance gas permeation membrane solutions. A key differentiator is our ability to integrate proprietary Electrodialysis (ED) and thermal solvent reclaiming modules directly into the capture train, continuously stripping out Heat Stable Salts (HSS), lowering solvent consumption and chemical OPEX.
To ensure the captured CO2 meets strict pipeline, transport, or utilization specifications, we supply modular gas conditioning packages. These systems combine catalytic deoxygenation (CATOX) to eliminate trace oxygen and advanced dehydration-utilizing either Triethylene Glycol (TEG) absorption or Temperature Swing Adsorption (TSA) on solid desiccants like molecular sieves-to deliver dry, high-purity CO2 gas under pressure. This is backed by our specialized treatment of highly acidic process condensates and quencher blowdowns, ensuring compliance and enabling closed-loop water reuse.
