DILICO CURR TEMP for Scribner Cell Fixture
DILICO CURR TEMP for Scribner Cell Fixtures enables researchers and developers to see how current density and temperature are distributed across the active cell area. The system is optimized for Scribner fixtures with an active area of 25 cm² and uses 64 segments arranged in an 8 by 8 matrix.
Each segment measures a defined section of the membrane electrode assembly, creating a two dimensional representation of electrochemical activity and thermal behavior. This reveals local effects that an overall cell voltage cannot show, including gas undersupply, flooding, drying, hotspots and localized aging.
The system measures current densities of up to 4.1 A/cm² and temperatures of up to 120 °C. Integrated cell voltage measurement, optional locally resolved electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and connections for up to five additional temperature sensors extend the available analysis capabilities.
DILICO CURR TEMP supports the comparison of membrane electrode assemblies, bipolar plates, flow field geometries, sealing concepts and operating strategies. It provides a direct route from measured local behavior to better component designs, more effective operating parameters and more meaningful lifecycle tests.
