COAX tubes and fittings have an inner process tube and an outer safety tube between which, for example, a carrier gas reports leaks to a control room. Similarly, a pressure system can be connected, that detects leaks via a sensor-based measuring device. This allows safety-critical media leaks, such as those of acids or hydrogen, to be reliably monitored and minimizes downtime. Viscous media can also be kept in a liquid form in the inner process tube by using a tempered outer tube.

For the highest demands on the inner surface, the process tube is available in the electropolished Dockweiler Ultron quality. Alternatively, COAX is also available with a bright finished inner surface as a TCC process tube.
