Sonplas brings accelerated stress testing to the laboratory.

With our modular 20-kW electrolysis test platform, we enable automated and reproducible performance, long-term, and accelerated aging tests for PEM and AEM/AEL technologies — from single cells to 36-cell short stacks.

Defined stress profiles can be programmed and combined as required:

- Current and load cycling up to 800 A / 60 V

- Defined start/stop sequences

- Controlled pressure conditions from 1 to 50 bar

- Programmable temperature profiles

- Diagnostics and process monitoring

- Automated test control and monitoring

The modular design allows the laboratory platform to be flexibly adapted to customer-specific requirements and expanded with additional measurement and analysis technologies.

To ensure safe testing with realistic operating and temperature conditions, Sonplas integrates the test setup into purpose-built thermal chambers with a temperature range of −50 to 150 °C. This enables reliable test results, which provide a solid foundation for analyzing cell behavior and optimizing stack performance.
