EQ-DA Series for Ultra-Precise Electro-Pneumatic Pilot Pressure Control
The EQ-DA can operate in open-loop as a precise electronic pilot regulator, or in closed-loop using external feedback such as upstream/downstream pressure, flow, ΔP (or differential pressure), level, or vacuum. By combining a fast internal PID-loop with stable pilot pressure actuation, the EQ-DA delivers a complete control solution without requiring a PLC-control-loop for the primary control function. This makes it a highly effective pneumatic pressure regulator electronic for applications where accuracy and responsiveness are critical. Because only clean pilot gas enters the actuator, the proportional valve remains isolated from the process medium, improving reliability and chemical compatibility.
Combined with the wide rangeability and robustness of Equilibar valves, being uniquely capable to handle the most severe service conditions, the EQ-DA is ideal for demanding processes such as extreme turndown, two-phase/mixed-phase flow, high viscosity, slurries/particles, and fast process disturbances. In these environments, it performs reliably as a pneumatic pressure regulator electronic, ensuring stable control under fluctuating conditions.
