WTS manufactures stainless steel quencher towers for post-combustion carbon capture and industrial gas treatment systems. Installed upstream of the absorber, the quencher cools and conditions the flue gas to establish suitable inlet conditions for downstream solvent-based capture processes. This process interface is critical where gas temperature, moisture, and corrosive contaminants must be managed before absorption.

Our fabrication scope includes the manufacture of large-scale cylindrical and rectangular process towers, stainless steel process surfaces, internal components, modular tower sections, access platforms, structural supports, and customised process connections. Depending on project requirements, assemblies can be supplied as shop-fabricated modules or as large sections prepared for field assembly.

The equipment is suited to wet, acidic and chemically aggressive environments typically associated with post-combustion flue-gas treatment. WTS works with EPC contractors, technology licensors and project developers to manufacture equipment around defined process, dimensional and interface requirements.

Typical applications include CCUS plants for power generation, waste-to-energy, refineries, cement and steel production, as well as other industrial decarbonisation facilities. The modular approach supports logistics, installation planning and integration into utility-scale projects.
