The GMP232/x2 was designed specifically for generation units and virtual power plants and delivers extremely fast, highly accurate effective values and fundamental frequency extraction in accordance with CAT IV. With a frequency accuracy of 1 mHz at twelve updates per grid period, it maintains an overview even in weak microgrids or after islanding. Configurable protection functions ensure compliance with grid connection conditions, while an integrated fault recorder logs time series in COMTRADE format – synchronized with global time stamps for the analysis of distributed measuring points. Harmonic analysis up to 50th harmonic also enables objective evaluation of grid quality.

GMP232/x2 is fully integrated into Bachmann SolutionCenter, enabling intuitive configuration and analysis. Tabular, vector, and time series displays facilitate commissioning and fault analysis. An integrated simulation function simplifies setup of protection and monitoring functions.

The GM260 module is the entry-level solution in Bachmann's portfolio for power measurement, protection, and control. It is particularly suitable for energy monitoring in accordance with ISO 50001, machine operation management, and the detection of component faults with noticeable performance issues. It has a remanent 4-quadrant energy meter for each three-phase system, which sums active and reactive power independently of the PLC. Current, voltage, frequency, power, power factor, and phase angle are measured precisely and reliably. The module is also fully integrated into Bachmann's SolutionCenter and offers a clear user interface for the recorded and derived variables.

GSP274 module complements the portfolio with functions for automatic synchronization of generation units to the power supply grid. They offer VDE-AR-N 4105-compliant single-fault-safe grid and system protection and monitor the switching status of circuit breakers. The recording of grid harmonics up to 50th harmonic enables a detailed evaluation of power quality. The module has an integrated real-time data recorder and event logging, which enables precise analysis of faults.
