The HI2000H hydrogen-compatible high precision pressure transducer has been developed for applications requiring the highest levels of pressure measurement accuracy and long-term stability. Combining ESI’s proven Silicon-on-Sapphire (SOS) sensor technology with specialist hydrogen-compatible materials, it provides exceptional performance in critical measurement environments.
Hydrogen applications present unique challenges for pressure instrumentation due to the small molecular size of hydrogen and its potential interaction with conventional materials. The HI2000H has been specifically designed to overcome these challenges, incorporating a specialist titanium alloy sensing element and wetted materials to provide excellent chemical compatibility, corrosion resistance, and long-term reliability.
The advanced SOS sensor technology delivers outstanding thermal stability, minimal hysteresis, and excellent repeatability across a wide operating temperature range. This makes the HI2000H particularly suited to applications where accurate and consistent pressure data is essential, including hydrogen research, laboratory testing, aerospace systems, and high-performance industrial equipment.
Available with pressure ranges from low pressure through to 1,500 bar, the HI2000H provides a versatile solution for both emerging hydrogen technologies and demanding industrial measurement requirements.
