HI6200H Compact Hydrogen Pressure Transmitter
The HI6200H compact hydrogen pressure transmitter has been designed to provide high-performance pressure measurement in applications where space, reliability, and durability are critical. Combining a compact mechanical design with ESI’s advanced Silicon-on-Sapphire (SOS) sensor technology, it delivers accurate and stable pressure measurement for demanding hydrogen environments.
Hydrogen measurement requires careful consideration of materials and sensor design due to the risk of hydrogen permeation and material degradation. The HI6200H incorporates a specialist titanium alloy sensing element developed for hydrogen compatibility, providing excellent corrosion resistance and long-term stability even in challenging operating conditions.
Its compact design allows easy integration into space-constrained systems without compromising performance, making it ideal for OEM equipment, hydrogen storage systems, refuelling infrastructure, fuel cell applications, and industrial process monitoring.
The HI6200H is available with pressure ranges up to 5,000 bar and offers excellent resistance to overpressure, with the ability to withstand pressures up to twice the stated measurement range. Its rugged construction and reliable SOS sensor technology ensure dependable operation in demanding environments where accurate pressure monitoring is essential.
Tested for hydrogen compatibility in accordance with ISO 11114-4:2017 and compliant with European hydrogen regulations EC 79/2009 and EU 406/2010, the HI6200H provides engineers with a compact, robust, and reliable solution for hydrogen pressure measurement.
