High-Pressure Plunger Pumps up to 4,000 bar
One modular pump family covers the pressure and flow window of hydrogen and carbon capture projects, from hydrostatic component testing to injection duties and fuel test benches. Pumps are configured to API 674 where the project calls for it.
Technical features
- Pressures up to 4,000 bar, drive powers 15 to 3,000 kW, flow rates up to 10,000 l/min
- One-piece pump heads from forged high-strength stainless or duplex steel, supplied without coating, so cyclic load cannot damage a coating layer
- Gearbox efficiency above 90 percent, flow freely adjustable between 10 and 100 percent of nominal output with a single frequency converter
- Multiple sealing systems with leakage return and sensor monitoring, TA-Luft compliant sealing and ATEX Zone 1 versions available for methanol and ammonia duty
Service and availability
Split gearboxes allow a change of plungers and packings within one hour without dismantling pump head or gearbox, oil pressure lubrication is serviced without opening the gearbox, and a high share of common parts across the range keeps spare part stock small. Suction and discharge valves up to 1,000 bar are individually removable and interchangeable.
Proven in operation
Constant 1,000 bar on a methanol injection test bench under ATEX Zone 1, and 680 bar with raw, unfiltered seawater at 50 °C ambient temperature in pipeline testing.
