HP1000H High Pressure Hydrogen Transmitter Abstract
The HP1000H hydrogen-compatible high-pressure transmitter has been specifically designed for applications where accurate pressure measurement is required under demanding high-pressure conditions. Combining ESI’s advanced Silicon-on-Sapphire (SOS) technology with specialist titanium construction, it delivers outstanding performance, durability, and long-term measurement stability.
Hydrogen presents unique challenges for pressure instrumentation due to its ability to permeate and interact with materials. The HP1000H addresses these challenges through the use of hydrogen-compatible titanium alloy for the sensing element and wetted parts, providing excellent resistance to hydrogen-related effects while maintaining high measurement accuracy.
Designed for extreme pressure applications, the HP1000H is available with pressure ranges up to 5,000 bar, making it suitable for hydrogen storage systems, high-pressure testing equipment, energy research, and industrial hydrogen infrastructure.
The transmitter’s Silicon-on-Sapphire sensor technology provides excellent repeatability, minimal hysteresis, and reliable operation across a wide temperature range. Its rugged construction ensures dependable performance in applications where accuracy, safety, and long service life are essential.
Tested for hydrogen compatibility in accordance with ISO 11114-4:2017, the HP1000H provides engineers with confidence when specifying pressure measurement equipment for advanced hydrogen systems and high-pressure environments.
