Metacon’s Hydrogen as a Service model enables customers to secure hydrogen supply without building, owning or operating the production plant themselves. Through this business model, Metacon can develop, build, own and operate a site-specific hydrogen production facility under a long-term offtake agreement, with the option to transfer ownership to the customer where suitable.

The model can cover complete hydrogen generation systems based on electrolysis or reforming along with storage, compression and distribution, depending on customer needs and project scope. It gives industrial users access to local hydrogen production while reducing technical complexity, investment burden and operational responsibility.
