Hydrogen Conditioning System
Hydrogen is a key technology for climate-compatible aviation. Because it is stored as a liquid at very low temperatures, it must be conditioned before it can be used in an aircraft engine. This involves increasing its pressure in a hydrogen pump and raising its temperature in heat exchangers. The system relies on the complex interaction of several fluid circuits, including a nitrogen loop driven by a radial compressor.
