Fraunhofer IFAM Dresden offers an integrated development chain for hydrogen-active materials.

Processing capabilities include induction melting, rapid solidification, milling and powder processing.

Hydrogen-specific characterization includes high-pressure TGA, DSC and Sieverts measurements, gas permeability, thermal conductivity, elemental and multi-element analysis, X-ray diffraction and microscopy.

This infrastructure enables the systematic development and qualification of materials for hydrogen storage, electrolysis and related applications under application-relevant conditions.
