HyGGe™ 500P
The HyGGe™ 500P is a containerized pressurized PEM electrolyzer developed for industrial applications where high hydrogen output, operational flexibility and dynamic performance matter.
The system produces up to 500 Nm³/h of hydrogen at 30 barg pressure from a single PEM cell stack and delivers hydrogen up to 4.8 purity grade.
At the heart of the HyGGe™ 500P is Exion Hydrogen’s HIFI™ flow design, developed to optimize the internal distribution of water, gas and heat throughout the electrolyzer system. The objective is straightforward: maintain a stable gas-water balance and thermal profile, particularly during changing operating conditions.
This makes the HyGGe™ 500P particularly suited to applications where hydrogen demand fluctuates or where the electrolyzer follows variable electrical input.
The system combines the PEM process equipment with dedicated power conversion and balance-of-system components in an industrial containerized configuration. Its engineering focuses on the interaction between stack, process, cooling, purification, power electronics and controls rather than optimizing individual components in isolation.
Typical applications include industrial hydrogen production, mobility, chemicals, metallurgy, energy integration and other processes requiring substantial volumes of hydrogen generated on site.
The HyGGe™ 500P is designed around a key principle: dynamic operation should not come at the expense of stability, gas quality or equipment lifetime.
