Injection Systems for Ammonia, Methanol and Ethanol

KAMAT Hall: B4 Stand: 4C20

The three media place demands on the pump that conventional fuels do not: low viscosity, high enthalpy of vaporisation and corrosive behaviour. KAMAT designs pressure supply, materials and sealing around the medium.

Technical features

  1. Multiple sealing systems with leakage return and sensor monitoring, TA-Luft compliant sealing available
  2. One-piece pump heads from forged stainless steel, supplied without coating
  3. Efficiency above 90 percent
  4. Stable delivery down to below 10 percent of nominal output, with an external oil pressure supply holding the plunger sealing steady at the smallest flows
  5. Hermetically sealed magnetic coupling on the booster pump keeps the system free of contamination
  6. Compact, low-vibration design, modular platform from 15 to 3,000 kW, triplex and quintuplex, configurable to API 674

Proven in projects

A fuel injection test bench runs at constant 1,000 bar across its full test range, certified for ATEX Zone 1, with a TA-Luft compliant sealing system and leakage sensor. For marine fuel systems the design holds concept approval from a classification society and is built for installation in fuel preparation rooms and engine rooms. Maintenance works without crane and special tools.
