The separator AS 2 is completely made of stainless steel (1.4404 / 316L). Its excellent surface quality makes it easy to clean. The straight-way design with drain outlet at the bottom ensures that all accumulated liquid drains away completely. The valve is vacuum-tight and suitable for operation in the vacuum range. It reliably operates without being affected by counterpressure or pressure fluctuations.

The soft-sealed liquid trap built into the separator body operates instantaneously and its operation is not impaired by backpressure or pressure fluctuations. The collected liquid is safely drained by the float control. No additional energy input is required.

With its optimised flow geometry, the centrifugal separator AS 2 features a separating performance of up to 99 %. The maximum separation capacity is achieved at a flow velocity of 25 - 30 m/s, which – however – should not exceed 35 m/s.

The lightweight and compact valve has a long operational lifespan. Thanks to the quick-release body clamp system, maintenance can be performed easily without requiring special tools.

A large choice of connections (aseptic, ANSI or DIN flanges, NPT, welding ends) as well as the vast amount of gasket materials make the AS 2 a real allrounder.
