NovaMea develops anion exchange ionomers for catalyst layers and membrane-electrode assemblies used in AEM water electrolysis.

Designed to complement NovaMea's membrane technology, the ionomer platform supports ionic transport within the electrode structure and can be evaluated with different catalyst systems, electrode formulations and operating conditions.

NovaMea collaborates with electrolyser developers, catalyst manufacturers and research partners to optimise ionomer formulation, electrode integration and membrane-ionomer compatibility.

The objective is to support the development of efficient and durable MEAs for next-generation AEM electrolysers.
