Power-to-Gas Container Platform
Our first modular Power-to-Gas container system is currently being assembled. It brings CYTOK’s patented technology into a scalable, flexible and standardised platform designed for faster deployment across a wide range of applications.
The system converts surplus renewable electricity into synthetic methane, making renewable energy storable over longer periods and available when it is actually needed. The resulting gas can be used within existing gas infrastructure, including gas storage systems, boilers and combined heat and power units. This enables the reliable integration of electricity and heat while reducing dependence on volatile energy markets.
The container platform is designed for organisations that want to do more than simply consume renewable electricity. It is aimed at those seeking to use locally generated energy strategically, economically and throughout the year.
Potential applications include:
- Residential districts and larger housing developments
- Municipalities and public buildings
- Commercial and industrial properties
- Research campuses and energy-intensive sites
- Locations with existing PV, wind, gas or CHP infrastructure
Thanks to its modular design, the platform can be adapted to the available generation capacity, local energy demand and required storage volume. Standardised components can also reduce installation work, shorten project timelines and improve planning certainty.
