RepAir ElectraStack
ElectraStack is RepAir's proprietary electrochemical CO₂ capture system designed to capture carbon dioxide directly from ambient air and dilute industrial emission streams. Fully electric and operating at ambient temperature, the system eliminates the need for liquid solvents, solid sorbents, and thermal regeneration, significantly reducing energy consumption while simplifying plant integration.
At the core of the technology are RepAir's solid-state electrochemical cells, which selectively separate and concentrate CO₂ into a high-purity stream suitable for storage or utilisation. The system achieves capture rates up to 95% while delivering 98%+ pure CO₂, with demonstrated performance in both DAC and industrial point-source applications.
ElectraStack is built around a modular architecture designed for mass manufacturing and rapid deployment. Its instant start-stop capability enables flexible operation, while the absence of thermal infrastructure reduces footprint, installation complexity, and operational costs.
RepAir is currently preparing the deployment of its next-generation stacks, featuring the company's first commercial-scale electrochemical cells with an active area of 1,000 cm², representing a major step towards commercial deployment and large-scale manufacturing.
