The steam trap KA 2 is a float-controlled steam trap for all applications with gases, steam or cold condensates and especially suitable for corrosive condensate and applications in the food industry. It has been designed for small flow rates and can handle steam up to 190 °C. The float design is adapted to medium density.

The valve is completely made of stainless steel featuring excellent corrosion resistance. With its soft seal it ensures a tight valve closure already in depressurised condition. The sturdy valve mechanism requires low maintenance.

The KA 2 ATEX H2 version can be used in explosive atmospheres because it is compliant to ATEX directive 2014/34/EU and DIN EN ISO 80079-36. The valve can withstand temperatures from -50 °C up to 300 °C. There is potential equalization among the valve components and the valve body has been provided with a grounding lug. The operating pressure ranges from 0 to 40 bar.

The steam trap KA 6 is a high pressure valve for small flow rates. It has been designed for operating pressures up to 60 bar. The float-controlled valve is specifically used for the dehydration of gases. It is particularly effective in oxygen or hydrogen applications in electrolysis processes or compressors.

The KA 6 is completely made of stainless steel (1.4404/316 L) with excellent corrosion-resistance and is fitted with a metallic seal. Various seal materials can be optionally used, suitable for the customer’s specific medium. With the seat and cone arranged below liquid level, the valve ensures a high gas tightness.

The KA 6 ATEX H2 version can be used in explosive atmospheres because it is compliant to ATEX directive 2014/34/EU and DIN EN ISO 80079-36 as well as the German TA Luft directive. There is potential equalization among the valve components and the valve body has been provided with a grounding lug.

Special connections are also available as an option, such as flanges according to EN 1092-1, ASME B16.5, NPT threads or welding ends etc.
