Industrial facilities and larger microgrids need generation that can form a substantial part of the site energy system. The SydroPOWER Grid™ MZ1000T is a 1 MW hydrogen fuel cell platform for industrial power, distributed generation and grid-support projects.

The system is rated at 1 MW, with a 1.2 MW peak rating limited to 30 seconds. It is packaged in a 40-foot ISO container measuring 12.2 × 2.44 × 2.59 m and is specified for operation from −20°C to 45°C.

The platform includes on-grid/off-grid capability, intelligent control, zone safety and fire suppression. Its CHP-ready configuration also allows project teams to evaluate useful heat recovery alongside electricity generation. Heat recovery is configured around the site heat demand and thermal interface.
