The X-Cell is a modular, high-performance flow cell designed for virtually any electrolysis application. Rather than buying a new cell for every project, you build your own configuration: interchangeable current collectors (nickel, titanium, stainless steel, copper, or platinum-coated titanium, in flat or flow-field designs), PEEK or PTFE flow bodies, and a choice of PTFE, EPDM, or VITON gaskets let you match the cell to your exact chemistry and conditions.

Available with interchangeable 2.5 × 2.5 cm or 5 × 5 cm active areas (custom sizes on inquiry), the X-Cell supports PEM, AEM, alkaline, and non-aqueous electrolysis systems, and is used across a wide range of applications - from hydrogen production and CO2 reduction to electrochemical metal recovery, desalination, and organic electrosynthesis.

Built for fast assembly with accurate temperature measurement and control, the X-Cell operates at temperatures up to 90°C across a full pH range, with minimal catalyst contamination. It's designed to scale with your research: start with a single cell and add components later to build toward a stack, without switching platforms.
