Inside KAMAT: High-Pressure Pump Manufacturing and Engineering
The film follows high-pressure pump technology through the company's own production in Witten, from component manufacturing to the assembly and testing of complete units.
For hydrogen and carbon capture projects that depth decides two practical questions: what can be adapted to the medium and the duty, and how quickly parts arrive when a plant is waiting. The modular platform covers drive powers from 15 kW to 3,000 kW, pressures up to 4,000 bar and flow rates up to 10,000 l/min, in triplex and quintuplex design, configurable to API 674, with TA-Luft compliant sealing and ATEX Zone 1 versions where the medium calls for them.
KAMAT is family-owned, was founded in 1974 and is represented by trained service partners in 54 countries. Typical duties on this market are hydrostatic and cyclic pressure testing of tanks, valves, fittings and refuelling components, injection and feed systems for ammonia, methanol and ethanol, and high-pressure supply in process plants.
