This video shows the manufacturing of Q Power’s biological methanation reactor modules at the company’s production facility.

The modules shown were manufactured for the industrial-scale eMethane plant delivered to P2X Solutions in Harjavalta. Q Power’s modular solid-state reactor design provides a standardized and scalable foundation for methanation plants of different capacities.

The technology uses specialized microorganisms to convert CO₂ and renewable hydrogen into methane at low pressure and moderate temperature. Multiple reactor modules are combined within one integrated methanation system according to the required production capacity.

Applications include the utilization of CO₂ from biogas upgrading, direct raw-biogas methanation, industrial CO₂ utilization and integrated RFNBO eMethane production.
