APJeT Plasma Technologies develops proprietary atmospheric plasma technology for surface activation, coating, and sterilization applications.
Their latest breakthrough, APCure™ GreenFIX™-GDL, combines novel waterproofing chemistry with APJeT's patented plasma-curing machinery to waterproof gas diffusion layer and porous transport layer materials. The plasma machinery cures their unique chemistry at room temperature in a continuous roll-to-roll process, producing a final product with better porosity, higher conductivity, and up to 99% less fluorine than today's standard. By eliminating heat, operating costs can be reduced up to 79% and line speeds can be increased to 10 meters per minute.
