DILICO engineering GmbH develops advanced measurement, testing and diagnostic solutions for fuel cells, electrolyzers and other electrochemical energy systems. Based in Magdeburg, Germany, DILICO supports research institutes, component manufacturers, system developers and industrial operators in making cell and stack performance measurable, comparable and easier to improve.

Our solutions provide detailed insight into the electrochemical and thermal processes occurring within individual cells, complete stacks and test systems. This enables customers to identify critical voltage deviations, performance losses, thermal hotspots, uneven operating conditions and early signs of degradation. Reliable measurement data accelerates development, improves test reproducibility and supports quality assurance, condition monitoring and predictive maintenance.

A core area of expertise is cell voltage pickup and cell voltage monitoring for industrial applications. DILICO develops modular and application specific pickup systems that provide reliable electrical contact to individual cells, even in demanding stack environments. Combined with our precise cell voltage monitoring technology, these systems enable the continuous supervision of every cell within an electrolyzer, fuel cell or battery stack.

Operators gain real time insight into the condition and performance of their stacks. Underperforming or critical cells can be detected at an early stage, helping to prevent consequential damage and unplanned downtime. The resulting cell level data provides a reliable basis for improving efficiency, availability, safety and service life. Our solutions can be integrated into new systems, existing test benches, control architectures and industrial plants.

The DILICO portfolio also includes CURR TEMP systems for spatially resolved current density and temperature measurements. The DILICO Hydrogen Cell Test System HCTS 50 enables standardized and reproducible testing of PEM and AEM electrolysis cells at operating pressures of up to 50 bar. Measurement and analysis software, accessories, engineering services and customized system integration complete our offering.

DILICO solutions cover the entire technology lifecycle, from material research, membrane and catalyst evaluation to single cell testing, stack validation and continuous industrial monitoring. Applications include PEM, AEM and alkaline electrolysis, fuel cell systems, batteries, redox flow batteries, test benches, end of line testing, condition monitoring and operational optimization.
