Elios S.r.l. is an innovative start-up and a research spin-off whose goal is to bring innovation to the nautical sector by making boats completely green. Specifically, the main objectives are:
- Eliminating fossil fuels
- Efficiency
- Reducing noise pollution
The company is currently developing a prototype of a vessel powered by electric and hydrogen propulsion. The prototype was originally a diesel-powered boat, which has been retrofitted to best accommodate the electric and hydrogen drive system, utilizing the sun as an energy source. This technology can be adapted to any existing vessel or new build.
In parallel, we have launched a service-providing activity focusing on welding and design.
