ESE – Engineering Services for Energy – is an Italian engineering consulting company operating worldwide in the power generation, hydrogen and storage industry since 1994.
ESE was founded in 1994 by former general and technical managers of leading Italian companies in the conventional energy generation and boilers manufacturing.
Throughout the years, ESE has diversified its business to meet the global energy challenges of an ever-changing world. Today, our services span the full range of power generation technologies, including photovoltaics, BESS, hydroelectric, biomass, and, of course, hydrogen.
ESE today has grown to include a permanent multidisciplinary team of 32 people, while relying on top-level consultants for all key specialties. Thanks to our relatively small size, ESE is able to meet the Customer requirements in a very flexible way and our lean organization ensures efficiency in every process.
We work jointly with our Customers to develop smart solutions across all project phases, from plant conception to commissioning: we deliver complete technical and feasibility studies, basic and advanced designs up to tender documents preparation and business plans.
Among the services we offer, Owner’s engineering service is the one that made us known for the high competence and experience.
Moreover, ESE provides high-level consultancy, by supporting the investors in the Due Diligence of existing plants as well as projects under development, analyzing the plant conditions, estimating the expected remaining life and the values of the assets.
ESE also acts as Lender’s Technical Advisor, including pre- and post-contract assistance to banks and financial bodies, with the assessment of project risks from a technical, economical, planning, environmental, organizational, contractual and permitting standpoint.
