Hystar is a Norwegian cleantech company developing and manufacturing high-efficiency PEM electrolysers for green hydrogen production.
Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Høvik, Norway, our mission is to accelerate the transition to a sustainable energy system by making green hydrogen production more efficient, accessible and cost-competitive.
We develop and manufacture the world’s most efficient PEM electrolysers that use renewable electricity and water to produce hydrogen. Our technology is built on more than a decade of research at SINTEF and is designed to deliver greater efficiency, lower costs and reliable performance at scale.
With over 40,000 hours of testing and operational experience in the field, we are now scaling globally.
