HYTING provides hydrogen-based heating solutions for buildings and industrial processes that are emission-free AND economically viable. In peak-load heating for buildings, HYTING enables customers to reduce costs from day one. In industrial process heat up to 300 °C, the company offers a CO₂- and NOx-free alternative to conventional technologies, helping to reduce Scope-1-emissions.
At the core of these applications is a catalytic heat generator, where hydrogen reacts flamelessly with oxygen from ambient air and releases heat. This process produces no harmful emissions: no CO₂, CO, NOx, VOCs, or particulate matter.
A key customer benefit in building heating lies in peak-load coverage. In hybrid systems, HYTING covers heat peaks during periods of high demand, for example at low outdoor temperatures, while heat pumps (or other heat sources) supply the base load. This allows customers to reduce their grid connection capacity and significantly lower demand charges. At the same time, the heat pump (or other base-load system) can be smaller in size and operated continuously at its most efficient operating point, reducing both CAPEX and OPEX from day one.
The second core application is industrial process heat up to 300 °C for processes such as drying, coating, curing, baking, roasting, or cooking. HYTING systems can be integrated into both new and existing installations, replacing fossil heat sources and thereby enabling a significant reduction in Scope-1-emissions.
HYTING also improves energy security where electrical capacity is limited or unavailable. The systems are retrofit-ready, available with short lead times, approved under the Gas Appliances Regulation (GAR), and proven in a 2,500-hour endurance test. They operate flamelessly and are therefore inherently safe. Projects can be delivered turnkey, from initial analysis through to implementation. The first customer installations have been commissioned and are in operation as of Q1 2026.
