Since 1989, JAG has stood for expertise and innovation in gas technology. The company emerged from a management buyout of Hale Hamilton and was successfully built up and further developed by Jens Asmuth over more than three decades.
From a specialized supplier of gas supply systems, JAG evolved into an internationally recognized partner for gas and hydrogen applications in automotive research and development. Since as early as 2014, JAG has been actively involved in hydrogen technologies, making a significant contribution to the mobility solutions of the future.
Today, JAG is among the globally operating providers of gas and hydrogen supply systems. With tailor-made solutions, exceptional flexibility, and comprehensive technical expertise, the company has established itself as a reliable partner for customers around the world.
In 2019, Jorina Asmuth joined the management team, representing the next generation of leadership, followed by Mika Asmuth as Managing Director in 2025. Since June 2026, JAG has continued its successful development as part of BHDT GmbH.
Following the change in ownership, Jens Asmuth stepped down from operational management after more than 35 years of successful leadership. The foundation of JAG's success today was largely created through his vision, commitment, and entrepreneurial achievements.
Headquartered in Burgwedel near Hanover, Germany, JAG employs around 90 people and continues to pursue a clear growth strategy. The company is ideally positioned to develop innovative solutions for the gas and hydrogen industries and to expand into new markets in the years ahead.
