Kinergy Fuel Cell is a Spanish technology company specialising in the development, integration and industrialisation of PEM fuel cell systems for real hydrogen-based power applications.
Our engineering activities cover the complete fuel cell system, including PEM stacks, Balance of Plant, thermal and fluid management, control electronics, monitoring, communications, modelling, testing and system integration. We develop modular PEMFC architectures designed for industrial integration, stationary power generation, backup power and mobility-related applications.
Our current portfolio includes a CE-marked 10 kW PEMFC Power System, PEM fuel cell stacks, Cell Voltage Monitoring (CVM) solutions and Fuel Cell Control Units (FCCU/ECU). Kinergy combines hardware development with modelling, simulation, experimental testing and validation to support the evolution of fuel cell technology from prototype to application-ready systems.
A key part of our development strategy is collaboration with specialised technology partners and research organisations. Kinergy works with CMT – Universitat Politècnica de València (CMT-UPV) on fuel cell testing, characterisation, modelling and validation, and collaborates with organisations including the Korea Institute of Energy Research (KIER), SZU in South Korea and CTAG – Centro Tecnológico de Automoción de Galicia in areas related to fuel cell testing, validation, integration and mobility applications.
Kinergy is also advancing its own technology and industrial capabilities through European and national R&D programmes, alongside a European patent application covering a new bipolar-plate geometry and manufacturing method. Our objective is to develop practical, scalable and reliable PEMFC solutions that can be integrated into real industrial and energy applications.
