A pioneering hydrogen economy is emerging in Bremen. The Hydrogen Office at the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Ports and Transformation serves as the first point of contact for all matters relating to hydrogen and works closely with all relevant departments and companies.
The Ministry of Economic Affairs, Ports and Transformation has a wide range of responsibilities. Some of these relate to its role as the state ministry of the Federal State of Bremen (which consists of the two cities of Bremen and Bremerhaven), while others derive from its function as part of the municipal administration of the City of Bremen.
The Ministry of Economic Affairs, Ports and Transformation is also responsible for affiliated organisations, such as Bremeninvest.
